I’ve been doing Pole Dance for 9 years now, teaching for 5 years. On the other hand, I’ve been teaching Chairlesque for 3 years. I wasn’t flexible or strong before. But I just keep on going to classes, building the strength & flexibility. It takes a lot of discipline & consistency to be where I am & what I can do now. There are some tough times, especially when I get injured before a competition. I learned a lot on how to take care of myself, that includes listening to my body.
It gave me a more positive outlook in life. Being able to do the things that I thought are impossible, lift my self-esteem and pushed me more to be the better version of myself. I would say, that I am Mentally & Physically Strong.
